Statement:
Stained glass became an obsession for me in Florida in the early 70's with copper foil and
plant forms, Tiffany and nouveau. Immigrating to London, England in 1983 exposed me to an
incredible Arts & Crafts tradition of leaded, acid etched, stained and painted antique glass
and I became an Associate member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters. Newer trends
of fusing have worked it's way into my site-specific leaded work, and on occasion, is the sole
technique for autonomous decorative and gallery pieces. I belong to the Women's International
Glass Workshop and have exhibited with them around the world, and was selected for the
Bullseye exhibition E-Merge in 2008. Returning to the US in 2007, I now live in
Charlottesville, VA. I work to commission.
